so last wednesday was good. i was told i made a difference. wow. i taught a lesson, and she said because of it she wanted to change, and i felt good. that is a good feeling. i hope i can encourage that more. what was so different? how can i help this happen more? that is something to ponder about.
i feel like a scrooge. we just barely decorated our tree- wait, i just barely decorated our tree. the kids didn't want to help and joseph was trying to fix broken lights. it was kinda sad. but it looks good! :)
i love the TWLIGHT series by stephanie meyers. great series. i have read them so many times in the past few months that i am rather ashamed. they are just good! i figure i love them i better write about them. that way the 6 people who read this, whom i also tell on the phone, will know how good they are.
there really isn't a whole lot going on. jerra went to the dr. for her 3 year check up- she is 34 pounds and 40 inches tall. tall and skinny, but that really isn't shocking, that is how she has always been!
joseph has been really sweet lately. he is helping with the dishes and kids and stuff a whole lot more. he has even run 2 baths for me!!! its really sweet. i wonder why?.... hmmmm.... oh probably because he has been playing this new game a lot on the PS3- oh well. we both are happy, i hope this isnt a whole new obsession i have to get frustrated with..... hmph- we will have to see where this goes. but atleast he is trying to help and make up for it! :) he really is a great guy. how did i get so lucky?
well- that is it. i just haven't written for so long and i though i should!

my jelly bean
oh how she has changed!!!! first she was soooooo little and now she is such a big girl! where has the time gone!
when she was born, literally to the sound of music i was thrilled and terrified and in awe that something so beautiful and wonderful could happen. i had all these hopes and dreams, i saw her riding a bike, going on her first real date, getting married, going to college, having her kids, and in that breif momement i knew it was all going to be ok. then they whisked her quickly away to the NICU and i was worried, scared and sad all at the same time. would she be ok? would she have any 'side affects' would she be able to keep and lead a normal life? and as i watch my new daddy follow his newest love i felt and then knew that she would be wonderful and no matter what she would be ok and i would love her. and i do, and she is.
she is spunky, caring, smart, sassy, loving, and everything i could have wanted and then some.
i thank my Father in Heaven everyday for her, and i hope that i can show her how much she means to me. and that when she grows up, she will want to show her kids how much they are loved, like she felt she is.
i love you jelly bean!
