David and Caitlin Payne's Wedding

so caitlin got married.  it was so crazy, not that she got married, just
the timing of everything.  she was getting married in the houston Temple, so we all got to pack up and head to houston 5 days before Christmas.  super crazy, but it was kinda nice to be able get away from the hustle and bustle of it all.... kinda. =)
but we did leave the boys (i had a fabulous babysitter named stephanie) behind so they could meet us later, and us girls went and got mani's and pedi's.  it. was. awesome.

claire and ms jellybean got both mini manis and pedis.  jellybean was in heaven.  it was adorable.

here is rachel getting her manicure...
here is cait getting her nails done.......

laura getting her pedicure.....
jessica......
me......

it was so great to be able to sit and relax.  we then made the 4 hour trek down to huntsville.  we did get one of the greatest girls ever to with us to help with the kiddos and babysit.  she is amazing.  here is we all are heading down.
adorable monkey

chunky

jellybean (i love the little handhelds.....)

how cute is that double chin?!?!  gah!!  so cute!

the awesome stephanie.

my handsome manly man.

we then went to to the family party where chunk was running a temperature, he was passed out and asleep and miserable.  poor baby.  so then tuesday morning stephanie came to to the hotel room, and she had the three boys while we went to the wedding.  it was a nice ceremony.  something the sealer said, i really liked.  he said that 'while you can see each other in the mirror, notice how you can see the other person better.  that is true in real life, you should always have them more in your sights then yourself'.  i really liked that.
here is the happy couple.

a shot of the temple.....

i did the flowers.  being 2 pm and 84 degrees, the flowers were hot and tired.  but they were still nice.

here is a view of davids flowers.  i really liked how they turned out.
collective awe

at the hunstville reception, it was beautiful.  josh happened get this picture of clint and laura.
such a great picture of them!!!  they are so great.  i am definitely lucky to be part of their family.
here is joey and his baby sister.

mother and daughter...

the sisters......

jellybean was lent this dress for the wedding.  and we LOVE it!!!!  she felt like such a little princess in it!  i just realized we didnt get a family picture of us.  my babies we so adorable and mr man was incredibly handsome..... maybe we will be doing a little photoshoot.....

on the way home, we were all so exhausted.  they all promptly collapsed and stayed that way until we got home.
see.

except monkey.  he fights it.  it was kinda ridiculous.  he was deliriously pleasant though.

poor steph, i think that she will only have one child after seeing the chaos of 4.  we exhausted her.  poor girl.  she was so great and helpful that it really made it so i didnt age like 40 years in those 3 days.

it was a such a fast whirl wind trip.  it was fun and exciting and so awesome to be able to spend time with those we love that we dont get to see that often.  when we got home at 4 on wednesday, we had to hurry super fast and get ready for family pictures.....

strangely i dont have any from the dfield reception.... it was really nice and the food was delicious and the company was better.

it was so wonderful to see caitlin so happy.  it was so fun to be able to share that with them.  my little babies are sad to have their aunt cait and 'ungle' david are so far away since they moved to michigan.  very sad babies.  oh well.  cait, david, we love you and congrats!

Christmas 2010

so we had an awesome Christmas this year.  it started out with all of us fighting colds and getting over them.  poor jellybean had a hard time with it.  she missed all week of school, only going the day of her class party because i was in charge of it.  lol it went well, and she slowly was getting better.
at the ward party, they had asked clint to do 'the night before Christmas'.  so he decided to do it a bit differently.  he did it like 'rage against the machine'.  it was AWESOME!!!!  the kids loved dancing to it too, i think he did an amazing job!

monkey is mostly a dad only type a kid, so while he was holding poor sleepy z, monkey attached himself to his father.  so poor Joseph had both babies while i helped the big kids.  cute boys!!!!

here is chunk with Santa.  he was so excited to see Santa and tell him that he had been good, and tell him what he wanted.  it was cute.

wish i could say the same for monkey.  there were tears.  he's pulling my hair there- hence the funny expression.  he did give a fist bump.  i thought that was rather good of monkey to do that.  we'll see how it goes next year.  lol

poor jellybean was starting to feel rather blah again.  but she was still super excited and talk to Santa very sweetly.  it was cute.

so Santa knew that the kids were in LOVE with zhu-zhu pets.  so he hooked them up with the kung-zhu battle ring and then a zhu-zhu town place.  they were so excited when they saw it.  they snuck out to peek the little stinkers.  they were so excited to see it!!!  so because they peeked, we ate breakfast before they could play with it.  lol- i think they learned their lesson!  lol.

Santa brought kung-zhu, slippers, books, nerf guns,
and treats.  he was good to us.  Santa is wise and knew what to get!  =)

and here is our little cookie family for Santa.  i am going to have to come up with a SUPER delicious recipe, Santa deserves the yummiest cookies ever!  but they were cute, they had a blast making them.  it was a bit rushed because of all the family stuff going on, hopefully next year i will be better prepared.  but they had fun, so that is all that matters!

our tree.

the traditional before presents family picture.  who is taking the picture?
and here is the one i took.....
and then after that, its all on the camcorder.  i totally missed taking pictures!  lol
jellybean and chunk had an awesome time.  they loved everything they got and was so excited about it all.  they did often remind us that this is really a party for Jesus, and that we need to remember him, because He loves us and He is really special.  =)  happy parent moment.
monkey really did not like it!  he cried the whole time!!  it was hilarious!  poor kid.  i hope that's not how he is going to react every time he gets a present! lol
and z was just happy about all the wrapping paper he could try to eat!  it was cute.

Christmas was nice.  it was nice to be able to spend time with family, and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour.
Merry Christmas!!!!
