have you ever wondered how are supposed to 'enjoy the moment' when you sometimes feel like you can barely keep up?
i have been feeling like this lately. things are good. and i am happy. but boy, am i ever busy?!?! claysen is going to run me to the ground where and jerra is so simple and easy to please. i just cant keep him entertained long enough to really do much, where jerra is content to watch whatever it is i am going. crazy- i LOVE the differences, and yet i am slightly un-nerved and sooooo excited to see how this one will be. i am happy to say that i think we might be friends now, and this baby doesnt have a personal vendetta against me. i have had 10 'good' days in a row!!!! i know! its about time right? that is what i thought. i am glad to feel like a mom and wife again instead of a blob. i dont like the blob feeling. the only thing is, when my 'normalcy' returned my memory seemed to take an extended vacation..... sad day. and where as i am the YW pres now, that makes things.... fun we will say. but i am so lucky that i have some amazing counselors and advisor.
so we have standards night- a night we review out standards of living (modest clothes, dating, music, and movies and so on....)- and i am really excited. nervous cuz this is the first big event i have been in charge of, but at the same time, i am ok. i feel like we are 'ready' and since i am feeling ok- i am worried that i am forgetting something. oh well. i guess we will find out, but no one can really think of anything that we are forgetting..... hmmmmm.
joseph got a lot of the plumbing finished on the master bathroom on saturday. this is really good for a few reasons:
1- i felt well enough to be a mom while he worked.
2- it wasnt too un-believably hot for him to work
3- we are closer to being finished
4- i felt well enough to be a mom while he worked AND i got things done! :)
so yeah saturday was good.
as i have rambled i have remembered, again- that the "necessary" things arent always necessary. but the important things are the easy one. like playing with the kids, and reading to them. those are easy, laundry inst necessary everyday- it make make things easier later in the week. that is all. but i just need to remember the priorities, and now that i have caught up from my 'coma-like' state of being , and joe has clean pants and the kids have jammies, my priorities are back to where we all like them! :)
*sigh*
its amazing how just rambling can help.
thanks for listening! :)
