so caitlin got married. it was so crazy, not that she got married, just
the timing of everything. she was getting married in the houston Temple, so we all got to pack up and head to houston 5 days before Christmas. super crazy, but it was kinda nice to be able get away from the hustle and bustle of it all.... kinda. =)
but we did leave the boys (i had a fabulous babysitter named stephanie) behind so they could meet us later, and us girls went and got mani's and pedi's. it. was. awesome.
claire and ms jellybean got both mini manis and pedis. jellybean was in heaven. it was adorable.

it was so great to be able to sit and relax. we then made the 4 hour trek down to huntsville. we did get one of the greatest girls ever to with us to help with the kiddos and babysit. she is amazing. here is we all are heading down.

jellybean (i love the little handhelds.....)
how cute is that double chin?!?! gah!! so cute!
the awesome stephanie.
my handsome manly man.
we then went to to the family party where chunk was running a temperature, he was passed out and asleep and miserable. poor baby. so then tuesday morning stephanie came to to the hotel room, and she had the three boys while we went to the wedding. it was a nice ceremony. something the sealer said, i really liked. he said that 'while you can see each other in the mirror, notice how you can see the other person better. that is true in real life, you should always have them more in your sights then yourself'. i really liked that.
here is the happy couple.

jellybean was lent this dress for the wedding. and we LOVE it!!!! she felt like such a little princess in it! i just realized we didnt get a family picture of us. my babies we so adorable and mr man was incredibly handsome..... maybe we will be doing a little photoshoot.....

on the way home, we were all so exhausted. they all promptly collapsed and stayed that way until we got home.
see.
except monkey. he fights it. it was kinda ridiculous. he was deliriously pleasant though.
poor steph, i think that she will only have one child after seeing the chaos of 4. we exhausted her. poor girl. she was so great and helpful that it really made it so i didnt age like 40 years in those 3 days.
it was a such a fast whirl wind trip. it was fun and exciting and so awesome to be able to spend time with those we love that we dont get to see that often. when we got home at 4 on wednesday, we had to hurry super fast and get ready for family pictures.....
strangely i dont have any from the dfield reception.... it was really nice and the food was delicious and the company was better.
it was so wonderful to see caitlin so happy. it was so fun to be able to share that with them. my little babies are sad to have their aunt cait and 'ungle' david are so far away since they moved to michigan. very sad babies. oh well. cait, david, we love you and congrats!

So fun! I love weddings, despite the chaos, long days, and huge amount of work! Hey, I wonder if Caitlin's in-laws know mine? My father-in-law was stake president there, and the Kingwood stake includes Huntsville. Just curious...
