wahoo!

well, i did it. i even made dinner. corn cowder. i throughly enjoyed it.

so the ECI counsultant came to observe jerra to see if she really needs a speech therapist. and like i knew all along, it has been officially stated by a professional that she does. she is atleast 6 months behind on her speech, so- we are now waiting to hear from them, again. so that was exciting for yesterday. and then i was good and i had dinner on the table by 5:30. that is rather amazing for me. i was really proud of myself. that is really hard to do- i didn't think that i would have to start at like 4 to do it- but i did. it is amazing how 2 kids can slow things down.

so jerra has been waking up mid nap with nightmares. how can i help her with this i wonder? its really sad.

so american idol has started. i love this show. right now they are showing auditions- and i really feel bad for people that think that they are amazing, and the are the furthest thing from it. but i still rather enjoy the show.

so daily i am amazed at how far we have come as a society- but then how far we have fallen. they go hand in hand really. like the pioneers would just be absolutely in shock at this thing that i am sitting at. and they would also be shocked that a women has a better chance of help if she yells fire rather than help or even rape. i think that i really miss chivelry and just general respect for others. i don't know- joseph and i watched a couple of period movies and it just made me realize how far we have gone in both directions. but all i can really do- is teach my childern the importance of it all and hope other pick up it. but i guess i need to hope that my kids pick up on it.

so we are starting to plan the layout of the back of our house? we are talking about stacking our washer and dryer for space.... i wonder about that. the dryer would be on top. i don't know why but i am really wary of it. i don't know if really is the word exactly but i just don't know. i will have to do some reading about the pros and cons and getting opinions. so if you have some thought please feel free.

i just finished reading the wheel of time series by robert jordan. they are good i really like them. this was the 4th time through. next i am starting men are from mars women are from venus. i am rather excited about it!
