so i had a great weekend. joseph came home on friday night and saturday we got stuff done around our house and sunday we spent the day together. it was stake conference- we didn't go- it's 45 min there and then trying to figth 2 toddlers through 2 hours of 'quiet time', neither of us were able to find the energy for that, so yeah- we read the ensign.
on sunday i got up and made joseph biscuts and gravy, one of his favorite breakfasts, and then we played here at the house and for lunch we went on a picinic (see website for pics: www.mabeyfamily.photosite.com ) and then we came home had niaptime and then went and at a mabey's for dinner and gave papa clint his present, a warhammer figure and pokemon cards. then we came home and celebrated joseph's father's day and put the kids to bed. i made rice pudding for dessert and we watched a movie and stuff. it was sooooooo great. so relaxing and laidback and together-ie. i loved it. it seemed soooo normal- what life is supposed to be like. i loved it.
the kids were so happy to see their dad, it was sooooo cute. they love him so much and you can tell. it wsa funny cuz they wouldn't let him out of their sight, they followed hime everywhere, and when he went 'potty' they were really upset. very cute. but i can't say that i blame them.
so we pick up my brother on saturday. he is coming for a month. YEAH!!! he will be here to help us with our house. i hope it goes well, and they get a lot accomplished. lets pray!
well, i think that about does it. i have been blessed this weekend with a family reconnection. i loved it. oh- and i am working on food storage- good luck me.
