so.... this has been a very crazy time.
first- steven came on the 23rd to help with my house. he has been a really big help. i think joseph is feeling good about how things are going right now. so this is really good. i am really enjoying being able to spend time with my brother. he's such a great kid.
we then get this phone call from my mom sayin that my grandfather, Papa- my dad's dad. was in the hospital. he is 89 and it turns out that he has cancer and he really isn't doing well. he has now been in the hospital for about 2 weeks. but i have to say that he is one of the greatest men that have ever lived and he has definately led a very good and full life. i just pray that he isn't in pain.
and then on the 4th- steven and my love got windows and a door in. they are also planning on getting all the drywall up so that the 'mudder' can come and get the kitchen and pantry, livingroom, master bedroom and closet, and then the other downstairs bedroom all done. that way all that needs to be done is painting and the bathrooms. WAHOO!!!!!
so it has been very busy.
the kids are great- claysen is in the process of getting 3 teeth and the 4th is just very slow moving- but yeah, he is still super sweet and stuff. he went into nursery with jerra on suday. that was great. yes it's early but no one cared so it was great.
jerra is having a difficult time right now. she has been extra moody and tired and emotional i really don't understand what is going on. i feel bad, since she is on a short fuse it makes things really hard for me so i am not very patient with her either. i hate that. i am praying hard and i just need to keep trying and work really hard and pray really hard and things will improve. :)
OH!!! i also have a friend! she lives down the street and she is also renovating. i once read that sometimes it seems as though prayers fall as stones, and i have felt like that for so long. i prayed and prayed and prayed for a friends. and one almost rainey day, i met one. and that is when i realized that the Lord just wanted me to know patience and have faith because without either where would we be?
i have to say that my new friend, in the 2 weeks i have known her has lifted my spirits so much more. i now would be really sad if i were to ever have to leave daingerfield. i would be really sad insted of just kinda sad. but yes- to feel awakened like this, is great. so thank you Father, and thank you brin. :)

Feeling's mutual, precious friend! Can't imagine Freeman House without you down the street. How did we EVER live three houses apart and not know each other?!
Love,
