Summer fun

well i am just going to go through my files and pic some of the favorites and share my spring/summer- well, everything i have missed and try to 'catch up'. so this is long- i am warning you now! but i hope you like my last 4 months rapid review!

as most yall know- my family came for monkeys blessing. i was SO EXCITED!!! we had the greatest time! my sister, her 3 kids, my parents, my youngest brother, and my grandmommy and granddaddy came out. i seriously LOVED every second of it. i cant wait for them to come back!these girls like eachother. lots. jellybean and nutmeg are 'bestest fwends'- that is what i was told. my daughter adores her! its really sweet. she asks to skype to talk to her and everything. i like that they are friends.

ase loved to color here on the stairs, this was generally happening when we were waiting for everyone to calm down enought to sleep. and i think that grandmommy was her prefered coloring partner. this happened a couple times too. :) doesnt it just make your heart smile?

the grandkids on "my side" they are: jellybean, chunk, monkey, bug, ase, and nutmeg. they are all actually really good friends that LOVE eachother. it makes us all happy. and one thing that i noticed- as we kept taking pictures, my kids got progressivly grumpier, while sisters kids became more annimated. not really fair. ;)

swimming made him tired. i was worried that being wrapped up like that would be uncomfortably warm- it was only 95 degrees though so not too bad. :)

what a good uncle. the kids wore him out! six kids and pa, hubby, sister, grams for a bit, and me for a bit. hubby's sister, Rachel and her 3 kids were actually there also- but i cant seem to get to the folder to look at them and load them. grr. but it was sooooooooo awesome!

my daddy is holding him here. monkey LOVED the attention! he is 5 months in the above pictures.

Monkey LOVING his bouncy chair.

as with all my kids this one loves the bath- he is always rather content. see?

this is one i took of me and him- he is about 3 months here.

one night, we decided to grill outside, before it became insanely hot, and we were done eating and chunky went inside and came running out, and then around to the other side of our porch. well- after a few minutes we were curious as to what he was doing. especially since we realized he had one of jellybeans babydolls. so we peak around the corner- and there he was. we asked him what he was doing when he came back and we were informed that he was 'tell hur a stowry and looking at da preddy trees'. HOW CUTE?!?!

my monkey.

Ahh- the bubbles- this was at conference time- Joseph and i thought that we would be fun parents and let them play in the "big tub" so we could listen to conference. well, we went into the bathroom to check on them, and well they had squirted about 1/2 a bottle of kids shampoo in the tub- and then turned on the jets. needless to say they LOVED all the bubbles! it did keep them entertained for conference! :)

my mom and sister gave my monkey this monkey, tute, and he sleeps with him, he likes to sleep with things covering his face- and that cute little puppy on the right there- that is 'pup' and he LOVES pup too- its really cute.

and yes we did celebrate Chunks birthday- he HAD to wear the backpack he got, and he LOVED his football cake. its not my proudest cake- therefore no air time, sorry.
he also got a sand box- he LOVES it. he got lots of games and clothes and stuff for the sandbox. he loves his birthday! but who doesnt? and jellybean HAD to help, of course.
** and i would like to add a little note about my chunky boy. i. love. him. more then i could even try to describe! it is baffleing to me, he just has such a special placce in my heart. i have a weakness to him! i dont know what it is! but i do. he is such a sweet little guy- kind hearted, thoughtful, stubborn, smart, exuberant, determined, and lovable! at night we tell each other: i love you- i love you forever- no i love you forever and ever! -no i love you forever and ever and ever! and then we just add on evers and evers. and he started that. he will come and check to see if you are ok, he will complement your shoes, and he LOVES his sister and brother, he is trying so hard to share with monkey, and then really super sad when monkey doesnt play cars with him, or throw the ball back. but he will read to him, and tell him 'stowys'. i love it. i love him, life is just so much better with him. :) i am a lucky mom that he is mine. :D
this is one of our FAVORITE people in the world. this is jellybeans speech therapist. and oh we are so happy when she comes to 'play' we just cant get enough of her! she has been such a blessing to us, not only do i have a great friend, but now my daughter talks! :)
well- if you got this far- kudos to you! this was long over due. sorry. i think i am back mostly. its been kinda a hard adjustment to 3 kiddos, but i am getting there. oh and we have been at the lake or pool almost everynight this summer! so i have been REALLY busy too. but again, i think i am back..... mostly. :) hope you enjoyed 'em!!!

Joanne! I am so happy you found me. I think I found your blog once or twice, but never left a comment (sorry!) I can not believe that you have three little ones already! Your family is so adorable! I actually see your mom every once in a while so she gives me updates on your life. She is such a sweet lady. Once again, thanks! Cheers.
