Yards

so growing up i never cared about yards or weeding or anything like that. i thought it was yucky. there were bugs. now i feel different. i want to plant flowers! i want to weed them. i want my yard to look good! this is kinda liberating in a weird way. i mean i don't like to go outside because my yard is so.... sad. we just haven't been able to work on it. but now that it is spring we can. and i want to. it's weird for me. but nice ya know? i think that i like this. now if i could just do something about it.....

so claysen's birthday was good. i made a cake that looked like a basketball. clint and laura came over- cait had to work. and he really enjoyed his presents. as does jerra. it's really annoying trying to explain to jerra the difference between her things and his things. it is a daily battle. but that is ok. she might understand next year. :)

so yw is really time consuming. it takes a lot of time at night- and that is the time that joseph works on the house and so then it makes it hard to work on the house. that really worries me. i hope that we can get it all done in time. this plumbing takes a lot of time. and it really doesn't have a lot to show for it- until it's all done. but it takes like 6 weeks to do something that is like oh great! i don't know. i know he gets discouraged which makes it even harder for me cuz- i really can't do much to help him ya know? and he is so used to doing it all himself that i just end up getting in the way. very frustrating for me.

jerra is talking more. YEAH!!!! she is putting 3 half words together! which is awesome because it wasn't 1 month ago that she was not really even saying anything. so it is really nice. and claysen went to his 1 year check up and he is 20 pounds and 10 ounces and 30 inches long. so that puts him in the 60th percentile for his weight and 70th for height. nice big boy and he even got his shots and he didn't run a temp! so that was great! he was just a little cranky the day after and that was it! wahoo! he is sooooo stinking cute!! i love him! and he is giving kisses now. nice and slobbery. :) it's great. and he has such an obsession with wires it is sooo strange. jerra could have cared less. it's weird to see the differences- ya wouldn't think that these two people share the same parents- dna and everything. it's great. jerra is such a sweet girl! she is all the time giving claysen hugs and kisses, and she loves to give me hugs and kisses- which i just love. she asks and offers all the time. talk about a warm fuzzy feeling. :) she "helped" me make cookies yesterday. that was fun. she licked the beaters and it was all over her! it was soooo cute. i love her! :)

well- that is about it. nothing much is happening right now. i am happy- i am working on these 'Fill it in' word things. i really like them. anyway- i got laundry to do :) - so bye!
