So our dear friends Ghent and Ashley Bailey came to visit. We finally got to meet their little Princess Faye. Little did we know that our little Monkey would fall madly and deeply in-love at first sight. Now, generally speaking he likes babies. He likes to hold them, and help take care of them, and 'play' with them. But never before have I seen him dote on someone before. If 'bibi faye' needed anything or he thought she needed anything- he got it before we would even think about it. So. Adorable. It really melted my heart.
This is one like 92 time that he held her. He really couldn't get enough of her. I don't think she minded too much either! (Luckily for him! lol)
While she was playing one afternoon, Monkey decided she wanted to play with his stuffed monkies. So he brought them all out. Then he laid down next to her and 'helped' her play and played with her. This went on for awhile. Then when it was time for nap time, he he was convinced that he needed to help.
Needless to say, that each year when they come out (they really come out for a family reunion on his side, but they stay with us) we will be taking pictures of them together- so that way in like 23 years- when we are making their wedding announcements and wedding video, we have pictures of them throughout the years together. *collective awe*. lol
Anyway. Needless to say the visit was way too short. We love having them here and just wish they lived closer!
