So at the end of the year, Jellybean's first grade class did a final show of what they had learned. It was so cute to see the kids. They work hard all year- and it really shows. I did ask Ms. Jellybean which song was her favorite and her reply was, "I love them ALL!!!!"

Then soon after, they had an awards ceremony for the end of the year. It was so fun to see all the kids and all they had accomplished throughout the year.

When we go to pick up the kids, they have line, and while the kids are waiting inside, there is a teacher that is outside with a walkie-talkie calling the kids out as their ride pulls up and then a teacher brings the kids out and hand delivers them to the car. Makes it very nice for us because of the babies. Well, this is the teacher that is always out there calling the kids out. Seeing her happy face everyday has Monkey has really come to like her! After the ceremony, Monkey saw her, and ran over to her and gave her a gigantic hug. So we had to get a picture. =)
This was Jellybean's teacher. We love her at our house. Since I was able to be the room mother, she and I worked together on a few things, and she really is such a great person and really instilled in Jellybean a love of learning.
One of her favorite 'centers' was the reading center. These are books on tape and they listen and read along. She LOVES this center and talks about it all the time.
When I asked her what her favorite thing about Kindergarten was, she really couldn't narrow it down. She'd say centers, and then she would say just math, then recess, then, reading, then lunch, then definitely music. So needless to say, she loved kindergarten and has asked to go back multiple times!!
Chunk, went to pre-school. Although he ended up spending many days sick (before the tonsillectomy). He loved going to school. He loved his teachers and his friends. He learned so much and was always so proud of what he brought home.
This is the Director and and the teacher. Ms. Jan. She also taught Jellybean. We love her. She has always been great to work with and she is SOOOO amazing. Needless to say, Chunk was in great hands and he liked it.
He is Chunk pointing to his name. Class of 2024?!?! Isn't that crazy to think about?
He learned how to write his name. How awesome is that?! My darling 4 year old writing his name!
All in all, they loved school. They learned a lot, and made some great friends. We are so grateful for such great teachers that have really helped them learn to love to learn.
