So we got into Diana's house at like 10:30 pm. The next day we have the chance to unwind and hang-out before we head to a 'family reunion' of sorts. We were missing some, so that was sad, but we did thoroughly enjoy each other while we were together!!
We all met at the Brick Oven in to have dinner. We filled a room all ourselves!
Table 1
Table 2
Table 3
and the rest of table 3
It was so great to be able to all get together and have conversations with those that we rarely get to see or talk to!
Love this sweet boy! My sister's oldest; Dylan.
I think it was my brother Chris' goal to NOT let anyone get a normal picture of him. So difficult and I think he takes pride in that fact!
After dinner we all headed over to Granddad and Grandmom's for dessert.

Diana & Matt

My cousin Shawna and Grandad
We decided since most of us were there, we would give them their Christmas present early, and by golly this was the best one I got of them! Super sad- but we love them so much.
After awhile (a few days) we ended up am my parents house. It's so surreal to be home for Christmas after establishing your own traditions. Seeing how the 2 of us have merged to make it work is awesome, and then the way the kids light up when they see how similar things are. Pretty special in my eyes.
Mom has a HUGE collection of Christmas stories, and Liz brought over some of her favorites, we all gathered around to share the stories- it was great getting to see part of Liz like that and watch the magic of Christmas in the kids eyes with the stories.
I love reading to my kids next to the tree.
At some point as we were getting ready to head to Matt and Diana's for Christmas Eve, Z was getting a bit bored and was feeling ignored.
His new 'besd buddy uca dallin' played cars with him. He talked for days about it after we got home. He loved that his uncle Dallin sat and played with him for awhile. (I loved it too- kinda made my heart melt watching my son love my brother. He's a good guy.)
But every time we were in the car for more than 10 minutes this happened. He was so worn out but loving every second it was amazing.
And you take a picture of one, you can't leave out the others.
Except Claysen- he was asleep against the window and couldn't get to him.
As fast as we moved from one house to the next, we still loved it. The kids still loved it. It was so awesome to hear them talk about things that they liked and what they wanted to do next time they came, and how sad they were that it was too cold to do some of the things they remember liking.
I like that. It's a piece of my life they are incorporating into their own, and although we may be living far away from where I grew up, they are able to hold a piece of me in their hearts.
