so here we are- another long doosy. i have time. my foot is broken. and i have a sprained ankle. but that is a post for another day. maybe tomorrow- i will have time then too.
here is Z-man at 3 weeks. he is actually sleeping in my doll cradle that granddaddy built for me like 20 years ago. i love it.
here is another picture at like 4 weeks. that blackish spot above his eye there- that is a spot on my lens.... i need to get that sucker cleaned here soon. anyway, he likes to have his hands up near his face. he is a good little baby. he is a WONDERFUL snuggler. i love it. it makes me so happy to have such a sweet smelling little snuggle bug. he is a bit more demanding then the other babies were. already he is developing the 'youngest child syndrome'. i think i will have to start nipping that habit. but look how precious he is, how can a person not snuggle and love him constantly?
this boy cracks me up daily. he will always, and i mean ALWAYS make me smile and laugh out loud. he loves these harry potter glasses. he carries them around and tries to wear them, and when he gets them on and they stay on- he squeals with delight! its hilarious. and its so interesting to me, he will attach himself to a toy for like 3 days, and that will be his 'one and only' for like those 3 days. and then he is done. thats it- no more. he has moved on to another another toy. and that one will be the only one. weird. oh well.
here is a close up of baby Z, which might i add was monkeys first phrase. "baby Z sleep" so sweet how he loves him. terrifyingly sweet. if we are in the kitchen with Z asleep in the bedroom, and suddenly z is crying, i have to race to beat monkey there. otherwise he fervently tries to climb into the bed with him to put in the pacifier and have him go back to sleep. so adorable. freaky- but i LOVE it!
heehee such happiness.....
here is my momma. she came for like 12 days. 12 wonderful days. she came when joseph had to leave on a business trip. and i think that without her- i would have gone nuts. i think that is when the exhaustion really hit and she saved my life. really mom, i couldnt have done it without you. THANK YOU!!!!
here is momma, z, and me.
mom and jellybean.
monkey and mommy
chunk and madre
jellybean took this picture of my lovely mom and me.
monkey is starting to feed himself. very bittersweet. every morning- he gives himself an oatmeal facial. this was a good day, usually his eyes are covered also.
all of us minus joey and jerra- one of which was the photographer- before mom abandoned me.
at the bottom left corner, there is some blue bricks- that part that is vertical, that is what is really left of the front of the garage. that is a gigantic tree that smushed it. that was on may 12th. how crazy is that? and the freaky part, i was standing under the tree talking to diana telling her how i think that the tree is going come down soon. i turn, go inside and call joe, turn back around and while i was standing on my porch- i watched this gigantic oak tree crush my garage. it was freaky.
here is joe with the missionaries that helped clean part of it that weekend. sorting the salvageable and the not
salvageable.
see here is another view......
see here is a piece of the truck of the tree that fell. this is about 10 feet up from the ground. its just about the height of my freakishly tall 4 year old.
chunks crushed bike. how sad is that?
doesnt that expression just say it all? that is how we all feel about the smushed garage.
we were mowing the lawn on the 22nd- and this is what joey found. it is now residing in a different yard. thank heavens.
well- there ya go. there is more updates. i will be writing about my foot tomorrow. i will have the time- all i can do is sit here. *sigh* this is so not what i needed right now..... oh well.
but if i can be frankly honest right now, i think it will all be ok. i think i can really utilize this time to organize my thoughts. that way, i can be better. i think that i will come out of this stronger and better. because- well- i have too. =)
