Easter

Easter this year was a bit different.  All 4 kiddos had the flu and 2 of them had an additional ear infection.  Between temperatures and then medicines- I gave medicines up to 15 time in one day!  It was so crazy!  luckily it was never really horrible- just blah and miserable.  Chunk did seem to be feeling better in the middle of things so he was able to go to his class Easter party.  I had been in charge again, but as opposed to last year- I had great parent help.  Here were the kids lining up to gather some eggs!

There are 18 here, and there were still a few missing from sickness!

Look at this hansom boy!

We had a nice little family egg hunt in the house with 4 semi-sick kids.  It was nice and low key- they kids had a blast decorating eggs.  Here are the befores....
Chunk..

Z and daddy (Z then proceeded to smash all his eggs on the table before he roughly  enthusiastically tossed them into the dye!)

Miss Jellybean- she was so undecided and torn as to how to decorate them!
(if you look close you can see her sad red nose from being blown so much)

Monkey...
And now the after!!!
Monkey...

Jellybeans- she had a very thoughtful one that she had drawn crosses on .  Because "that is the true meaning of Easter."  She is such a thoughtful girl.

Mine.

Chunk- he had an egg that he drew a family on because "I just lub dem so mudch"

Ripple worked so hard..... she is such a ridiculous cat!

The Easter Bunny was so incredibly wise this year and bought everyone there swim suits!  It made spring fever really hit!  He also had quite the task of hiding all of the eggs (4 real and 6 plastic each) side 2 rooms of the house!

Needless to say he even ran out of creative places, but they all had low energy so it worked out well.  =)

We had a nice Easter and talked about why we celebrate Easter and how important the Resurrection truly is, and how it is such a miracle and blessing in our lives.

Happy Easter!!
