july- part 2

so....  after we learned my foot was ok- we decided that we would surprise chirsy-poo and get to ut to his farewell.  so the 2 little babies and i flew to ut.  the flight although i was terrified to fly with monkey and z, mostly monkey cuz he is so busy.  but both boys were so so awesome!  it was a really good flight.  although on the flight- we caught laryngitis.  it really was sad.  but i had no idea that is what i had, i thought it was just a really bad cold, and then poor monkey got it.  so i could do NOTHING.  the only thing i could do was take care of him and hold him.  the whole time.  so it was everyone else was taking care of z.  which i think they were ok with- but it was hard.  but we got through it ok.  =)  i do have an awesome family!

while there- we celebrated my dear brother dal-pals birthday.  here he is with beautiful momma!

here is my awesome madre and my great, wonderful, awesome, near perfect in every way sister holding the ever cute baby z.  i love this picture.  =)

this adorableness happened before the sickness really hit.  he decided Tasha was his best friend and even picked her over me a few times.  thats ok.  i love tasha too.

see isnt she fan-tab-u-lous?  we all sure think so.  she and i we marshmallow toasting buddies.  lol she was such a great help with my sickie little boy and my happy baby.  all i can say is tasha is great.

and here is a picture of 2 of the greatest men i know.  'nuf said.

how great is this picture?  i wonder what it could look like edited (hint hint dia) i DESPERATELY LOVE this kid.  he is crazy determined, and so stubborn, and he will snuggle with you and drive you absolutely bonkers all at the same time.  i love him.

here is another  picture of dallin- he is probably one of the most honestly, smartest, cutest guys that i have ever known.  i love this guy.

and here is the inspiration behind so many things in my life.  growing up- i remember thinking that my dad was so weird to stand outside for an hour and water the grass.  by hand.  (sorry dad, but i did).  and now, at night- you know what i am doing?  after the kids go to bed, i go outside and water my grass.  by hand.  HAHA  i got that from you poppy!  and i dont mind that.  i love this man so much.  he teaches me something every day.  and i love it.

oh- i made dallins birthday cake.  doesnt it look AWESOME!!!  go here to get details of it.  but seriously- how cool is that?  AND it was tasty!  =)

sweet z snuggling with dia i believe.  isnt he just precious?  he was worth the bed rest for sure.

can you see his sick little eyes?  isnt he still so cute?  i did love all the snuggling i got to do.

while i was gone- joe was home with the big babies.  they tried to go to a water park.  look at her posing there.  how funny is she?  and you can see how he feels about taking the picture.  heehee arent they so cute?

(oh sorry this is out of order)  here is jellybean taking her own picture.  she cracks me up, i love her.  she is such a girly girl.  i love her.

if you turn your head to your left- you will see how long their water park trip lasted.  they got rain checks.  they thought that the fact that it rained so they got rain checks was so hilarious.  haha  silly kiddos. 

while they we waiting to see if it would blow over- they bought a drink.  they thought that was pretty awesome in-enough-of-itself.  it was awesome how excited they got just drinking at the rained out water park!  haha- i love it.

and well- that wraps up july.  chris left- and yes- i flew there to see him, and i didnt even get a picture of me with him.  i need to get tasha to send me the picture from chris' camera.

* and on a sad note- on the way to the farewell party, one of my daddys sisters- Tina, and her family were in an awful car accident.  she broke her neck, the rest of the family is ok, but she was really struggling there for awhile.  now a month later- she is writing and smiling and in rather good spirits from what i am told.  but she will need our prayers for a long time.  she is so wonderful- take the nicest person you know, and multiply that by 10- and that is how nice aunt tina is.  i love her.  please pray.

there ya go.  july is caught up.  coming up is back to school- and our 'before school starts last weekend fling'.  it was AWESOME!!!!  anyway.

Dia's house finally

so- i have been promising pictures of dia's house, and here are some. i will break it up for yall alittle bit. this is how she felt deep down that we came to visit. hee hee just kidding- this is how we felt at the end of each day, or naptime. with 5.5 kids and the mayhem that goes with them, we were just exhausted! but it was so worth it!

when we were planning on going, we were kinda worries about how the oldest girls would get along, with the age differences and the personality differences.

we thought that perhaps they would be upset with us and we would pay the price for months afterwards for inflicting such....... a burden on them- to play with their cousin!

But they LOVED eachother instantly! they were inserperable, and they had a blast! it was so cute to watch them play and share and get along, and enjoy eachother. Jerra was really sad that she had to leave 'Misskenna'. the only consolation was that she was going to see daddy.

so that is what we did when we stayed in. nothing but let the kids play! and they loved it and so did we! we realized how nice it was to have another pair of helping hands, i understand and appriciate nannies and cleaning people now. with that extra set of hands it was so realaxing..... almost. :)

we had gone out with no plans on doin ANYTHING- just hanging out and taking pics of the kids, cuz you really cant have too many of those, so that was it! and it was sooooooo fun! the kids still talk about when we went to aunt 'diedanas' house and how they played with 'dilin' 'misskenna' and 'aceley' and 'ucle matt'. they ask when we can go again. :)

we cant ever say THANK YOU!!!! enough.

oh- and they loved eachother so much they would even take baths together! arent they a bunch cutie patuties! (A, M, C, & J).

Thanks again sister! and their will be the infamous pumpkin patch next!

Things that excite me....

my dearest sister challenged me to find things that excite me, and things that i love that arent things, does that make sense?
books, books, and books.
i love to read. books make me happy- where they take me is priceless. if i didnt have my shoe obsession i would spend all my 'allowence' on books. and yet i am really particular about what books i read and buy. i dont want to read bad things. so as a general rule- if deseret book doesnt sell it then, well, i dont buy it. the one exception is Twilight, by stephanie myers. i am addicted. i cant wait for the movies and the last book. i love the different lives.
i always wonder how people are so creative and come up with these different worlds and all these lives. to put it beautifully on paper amazes me. i have great respect for writers, and especially for those who are good writers.
i guess that is one thing in my house that i love- albeit there are many. i love my books!

and on a side note- as i am sitting here, i can smell the roses that joseph gave me for valentines. beautiful pink roses, there are probably about 30 blooms, i love it!
